Acre model Gabby Dobbins is competing for the title of Model of the Year at , the main national fashion award. The most recent update released by FFW Brasil, this Thursday (26), on social media, listed the semifinalists in 11 of the 16 categories – and Gabby is among the strongest names in the dispute.
Born in Sena Madureira, in the interior of Acre, Gabriely Dobbins has been building a meteoric trajectory in the fashion world. After gaining prominence in Brazil in 2024, Gabby achieved international recognition when she debuted at Paris Fashion Week in October, modeling exclusively for the French brand Chloé.
With indigenous features inherited from her great-grandmother of Huni Kuî ethnicity, the young model quickly gained the attention of the global industry. In interviews, she described her experience in Paris as “unique and transformative”, highlighting the intense work and emotion of being present at one of the most prestigious fashion weeks in the world.
In addition to the technical categories, the FFW Brasil Fashion Awards will also have categories open to popular vote, encouraging the participation of the fashion community and fans.
