Vienna – Several technically manipulated scooters were discovered during a police inspection on Thursday in Vienna. During testing on Hasnerstrasse in Ottakring, a scooter even achieved a top speed of 76 km/h. Since the 50-year-old driver does not have a residence in Germany and was unable to provide preliminary security, the e-scooter was confiscated, the police said on Friday.
