Exchanging ideas with colleagues is important in everyday working life. Also to reduce stress or process anger. However, things get tricky when the harmless exchange turns into gossiping about superiors or colleagues – and is reflected in work emails, Teams chats or WhatsApp messages. What many employees don’t realize is that these comments can have consequences under labor law and, in the worst case, lead to dismissal.
