The PSD president also said that everyone who decides to believe in the friction between him and the governor of São Paulo ‘will be disappointed’
The president of the PSD, Gilberto Kassab, made a post on social media denying any kind of disagreement with the governor of São PauloTarcísio Freitas (Republicans). “Officially, I have been transmitting since 2022 that the PSD embraced Governor Tarcísio de Freitas’ project,” said Kassab.
The former PSD minister also wrote that this position comes not only from him, but also from the entire “respect and support from PSD colleagues”. Kassab also made a point of saying that everyone who decides to believe in his and the governor of São Paulo’s departure “will be disappointed” as the two will continue together, not only for São Paulo, but also for Brazil.

In the publication, Kassab also shared a video of an interview with Tarcísio given to TMC. In it, the governor says that “there is no pressure at all” on the part of his secretary in relation to political decisions and that this impression is only on the pages of newspapers. “Quite the contrary, whenever I sat down with Gilberto to talk, it was to discuss the project, discuss the future, discuss the state of São Paulo”, explained Tarcísio.
The governor also added that, during Kassab’s tenure at São Paulo city hall, he was a “Great Mayor” and who has always made it clear that he is part of Tarcísio’s project, regardless of any decision.
