Don’t know what to make for a sweet breakfast? Use the recipe for homemade Nutella with bananas. It tastes great both with bread and as an addition to pancakes or oatmeal. Consists of chocolate, cocoa, nuts and delicious, sweet fruit. This recipe is characterized by a small number of ingredients and quick preparation time. This spread is much healthier than popular chocolate creams available in stores. It’s so tasty that you’ll have to stop yourself from eating it straight from the jar with a spoon.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 100 g hazelnuts (preferably roasted),
- 100 g of dark chocolate (85% cocoa),
- 200 g of whipping cream (you can also use thick condensed milk without sugar or coconut cream),
- 3 bananas,
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa,
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil,
- a bit of vanilla extract,
- a pinch of salt.
Blend the hazelnuts into small pieces. You can do this using a food processor or blender.
Melt the chocolate in a water bath by placing the pieces over simmering water in a pot. Mix until the consistency is smooth and liquid.
Peel the bananas and cut them into small pieces. Combine the nuts, cocoa, bananas, olive oil, vanilla extract, salt, along with the liquid chocolate. Mix everything so that all ingredients are combined.
Pour in the cream or thick condensed milk, mix gently with a spatula until the mixture is liquid, creamy and silky.
You can eat the cream immediately, e.g. in the form of pudding, or put it in the fridge. You can also use it in the form of chocolate paste for a sandwich or as a filling for pancakes. Decorate the cream with chopped nuts and sliced bananas. You can also use whipped cream.
