Died this Saturday, 28, at the age of 78, actor and director Dennis Carvalho, known for Brazilian TV hits such as Vale Tudo and Dancin Days. The information was confirmed by the Copa Star Hospital, in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, when Estadão. The cause of death was not disclosed.

“Copa Star Hospital confirms with regret the passing of Dennis de Carvalho this Saturday and sympathizes with his family, friends and fans for this irreparable loss. The hospital also informs that it does not have the family’s authorization to disclose further details”, Copa Star said in a statement.

The artist had a great contribution to the history of television. As an actor, he participated in productions such as Roque Santeiro, Locomotivas and Malu Mulher.
