Belo Horizonte councilor Pedro Rousseff (PT) filed, this Monday (2), a representation to the () Attorney General’s Office against the presidential candidate (PL) for advance propaganda.
The reason is the event held on Sunday on Avenida Paulista, organized by the federal deputy (PL-MG).
Rousseff states that they constitute an explicit request for support for Flavio’s pre-candidacy for the Presidency.
He asks the PGR to open an investigative procedure and punish those responsible. Electoral legislation provides for a fine in the case of advance advertising.
In the document, the councilor states that by calling on the public to join and vote for the senator.
The PT member also states that the fact that the event brought together more than 20 thousand people, according to the USP Political Debate Monitor, increases the impact of the speeches and compromises equality between the candidates.
