Glauber Braga criticizes PSOL-PT federation: ‘dilutes the party’ – 03/02/2026 – Panel

The federal deputy (SOL-RJ) criticizes the proposal to create a federation between PSOL and PT, an initiative defended by the licensed deputy and now minister (General Secretariat).

In a video, the psolist says that a possible federation could take away the party’s political independence. He cites, for example, the situation of . He says that, with the alliance between Lula and the mayor (PSD), in a possible federation, PSOL would be prevented from running a candidate for the state government.

“The Federation is a political bloc lasting at least four years. This dilutes the party programmatically. Furthermore, it hampers, takes away the political independence to carry out struggles and determines what will be done electorally”, says Braga.

The majority wing of the party, however, says it does not fear the departure of parliamentarians.
