Lagoa reveals FATACIL poster at BTL

Lagoa City Council participated in the 2026 edition of the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL), where it presented, on February 28th, the official program of the 45th edition of FATACIL and the municipality’s main anchor events for this year.

FATACIL’s presentation once again became one of the central moments of the municipality’s presence at the fair, with the release of the musical poster that will take place between the 21st and 30th of August and which should attract thousands of visitors to the municipality.

The FATACIL 2026 musical program includes performances by Tony Carreira (August 21), Festa M80 (22), Hybrid Theory – tribute to Linkin Park (23), Vizinhos (24), Plutônio (25), Sara Correia (26), Quim Barreiros (27), Richie Campbell (28), Nininho Vaz Maia (29) and Os Quatro e Meia (30).

The municipality emphasizes that FATACIL “continues to assert itself as one of the largest fairs in the south of the country, integrating crafts, tourism, agriculture, commerce, industry and a strong cultural entertainment component”.

During the session, the anchor events that structure Lagoa’s annual calendar were also announced: Youth Festival (29th May to 1st June), Lagoa Wine Show (5th to 9th June), Black and White (20th June), Mercado de Culturas à Luz das Velas (2nd to 5th July), Lagoa Jazz Fest (17th to 19th July), Mostra de Doce Conventual (29th July to 2nd August), FATACIL (21st to 30th August), Nossa Senhora da Luz Festivities and Municipal Holiday (September 6th to 9th) and LAGOA MAGIC FEST (October 8th to 10th).

According to the municipality, “Lagoa’s presence in BTL reinforces the strategy of promoting the municipality as a diversified tourist destination, with an offer that combines heritage, culture, gastronomy and a large program throughout the year”.

The president of , Luís Encarnação, highlighted the scope of participation in the event, stating: “BTL is a strategic stage for us to affirm Lagoa on the national and international scene. FATACIL is the biggest event in our municipality and a driver of economic, cultural and tourist dynamism”.

The mayor adds that “the poster we presented today demonstrates the ambition and quality that we want to continue offering. At the same time, our anchor events consolidate Lagoa as a dynamic territory, with consistent programming throughout the year, capable of attracting different audiences and generating value for the municipality.”
