Since 2024, the parliamentarian has been investing in strengthening family farming through her amendments. In November last year, Dr. Michelle delivered agricultural machinery to the Transacreana community and, with this Tuesday’s action, she renews her commitment to those who live and work in rural areas.

During the delivery, the deputy highlighted the importance of valuing those who support the city with their own work. “I always say that without rural producers the city cannot live, so we need to strengthen rural production and family farming, which is what sustains us. I am very happy to be here delivering the kits, because when we had the idea of delivering them, we thought about the difficulties that producers were going through. And this was a way of solving one of the problems that persist”, he stated.

Coffee and corn producer Ana Feitoza, one of the beneficiaries, spoke about the importance of the initiative for those facing difficulties in the field.

“As rural workers, we have suffered due to lack of equipment. And today I’m here very happy, thank God, I already got the pump and also the engine. So when we find someone who cares about us, our happiness doubles. Leaving here with a grateful heart and full of strength to continue our work”, he reported.
