Six people were injured by falling debris from a drone that hit an industrial zone in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, on Thursday. “Authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi have responded to an incident involving falling debris at two locations in the ICAD 2 area following the successful interception of a drone by air defenses. AFP reporters reported loud explosions and rising smoke from the Qatari capital of Doha. Qatar’s Ministry of Defense previously announced that its military was working to intercept a flying missile. The country also ordered the evacuation of residents living near the US embassy in Doha.
Residents of Dubai and Manama also witnessed explosions during the day. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense reported that the country managed to intercept three cruise missiles and several drones.
