Two of the biggest recent names in the history of Atlético-MG, goalkeeper Everson and striker Hulk are looking for their 9th title each with the Atletico shirt this Sunday (8), in the Mineiro final against Cruzeiro. Both won the same cups, remember.
Holders practically since the first day they arrived, Everson and Hulk are four months apart at Atlético, which doesn’t change the fact that each of them has won all the titles they’ve won as well.
There are five Minas Gerais, one Brazilian, and one Brazilian Super Cup. The two were protagonists in all nine conquests.
The first title together
The duo’s first cup at Atlético was the 2021 Mineiro, won after two draws against América in the finals. It was the beginning of a magical year for Rooster.
Protagonists of the historic year
Everson and Hulk were two of the main names in Atlético’s 2021, which ended with the titles of the Brazilian Championship – which had not been won since 1971 – and the Copa do Brasil.
The striker was the top scorer and main player in both competitions, while the goalkeeper was voted the best in his position in both tournaments.
Everson’s title
Of the nine titles won by the duo, the 2022 Brazilian Super Cup was certainly the one that Everson stood out the most.
The goalkeeper played a great game in regulation time and, in the penalties, in addition to converting his own, to give Galo the unprecedented trophy.
Hulk, protagonist in finals
Decisive in national titles in 2021, Hulk was also Galo’s main name in the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Mineiros finals.
The number 7 scored two goals in the 2022 final; three in two games of the 2023 finals, against América; and one in the 2024 decision, also against the celestial team.
