The war in the Middle East continues to escalate. The United Arab Emirates and Qatar denounced new missile and drone attacks this Saturday launched from Iran, while Israel bombed Tehran again and US President Donald Trump threatened to expand the offensive against the Persian country.
The authorities of both Gulf countries activated their defense systems and asked the population to remain in shelters or indoors due to the risk of new attacks.
The offensive comes a few hours after the Iranian president, Masoud Pezeshkián affirmed that his country would not attack neighboring states. However, the headquarters that coordinates the regular Iranian army and the Revolutionary Guard later published a statement denying those words.
