António Dias Seabra is suspected of manipulating insolvencies in collusion with lawyer Paulo Topa.

The coercive measure was applied after last week, as reported by SIC, arrest warrants were issued following the December SIC Investigation into the affairs of lawyer Paulo Topa, who is in pre-trial detention.

As part of the “Cinderela” operation, which took place “in the areas of Greater Porto, Aveiro and Coimbra”, ten people were arrested, including three court administrators, a lawyer and six businessmen and traders.

All those detained, including the judicial administrator António Dias Seabra, are “indicted for committing the crimes of criminal association, corruption, qualified fraud, intentional insolvency, forgery of documents and money laundering, which will have been committed, at least, between 2023 and 2025”.
