I am a current affairs editor at HuffPost Spain. My goal is that you don’t miss anything, whatever time it is, whether you’re awake or asleep.
What topics do I write about?
I live with characters as diverse as Donald Trump, Gabriel Rufián or anyone who makes the news. I try to be up to date with everything that comes out, from the most current topics to more timeless ones.
I do it from an informative perspective, without losing that critical perspective with which to contribute something different from the usual.
Society, culture, politics, economy… Any topic is welcome to give a new approach to current issues that affect everyone.
My career
I think I’ve been a journalist since I was born, or so my mother says. From that moment until now many things have happened. I am from Azuébar, a small town of barely 300 people in the interior of Castellón and, although I studied, I entered my beloved ‘terreta’ (Degree in Journalism from the Universitat Jaume I) and Salamanca (Master in Sports Communication and Information from the Pontifical University of Salamanca), I learned the profession at the EFE Agency, where I covered the Rio 2016 Games, the Tokyo 2020 Games, the Paris Games 2024, as well as the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018 and Beijing 2022. In addition, I covered the World Cups in Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022.
On the other hand, I began an extensive period as a freelancer in which I collaborated with ‘El Independiente’, ‘Playas de Castellón’, ‘Revista Volata’, ‘Súper Deporte’, ‘Yo Soy Noticia’ and ‘Ciclo 21’, before landing at the Huffington Post.
If you ever need me and can’t find me, look for me on a tennis court. I can recommend the best crime novel from each country and talk for hours about cinema from the 80s and 90s. Oh, by the way, I got all the orange Trivial questions right.
