The Attorney General’s Office found no evidence that X (former Twitter) did not intentionally comply with decisions of the Brazilian Justice
The minister Alexandre de Moraesof the Federal Supreme Court (STF), accepted this Tuesday (10) a request from the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to archive inquiry contra o dono do X (ex-Twitter), Tesla e SpaceX, Elon Musk. The businessman was investigated for obstruction of justice, criminal organization and incitement to crime.
In his decision, the judge cited information from the Federal Police (PF) that indicated alleged action by a digital militia with the aim of spreading false information to boost speeches against the Powers. The alleged movement would be through non-compliance with court orders.

According to the minister, the PGR did not find evidence that confirmed X’s intention not to comply with the decisions of the Supreme Court and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). ““The complications reported by the police authority, although they allowed ephemeral access to suspended content, constitute technical improprieties inherent to the management of a network of global dimensions”, argued the Prosecutor’s Office.
Moraes also highlighted that the Archiving request made by the Public Prosecutor’s Office cannot be withdrawn. Except in the event of new evidence emerging.
