Survey by Paraná Pesquisas shows PT with 50.3%; has an advantage of 19.8 percentage points against Flávio Bolsonaro

A survey by Paraná Pesquisas, carried out from March 5th to 8th, shows that the president (PT) leads the race for the Presidency of the Republic among voters in Maranhão. In the 1st round scenario, the PT member registers 50.3% of voting intentions. In 2nd place is the senator (PL), which totals 30.5%.

Next are Senator (PP), with 2.2%, the governor of Minas Gerais, (Novo), with 1.7%, and the governor of Paraná, (PSD), with 1.4%. Also mentioned are Renan Santos (Mission), with 0.8%, and (Christian Democracy), with 0.5%. Among those interviewed, 5.6% said they did not know who to vote for, while 7.1% said they intended to vote blank or cancel.

The survey interviewed 1,300 voters in the State of Maranhão. The margin of error is 2.8 percentage points, with a 95% confidence level. The research is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number BR-00574/2026. According to the company, the study cost R$35,000 and was financed with its own resources.

2ND ROUND SCENARIOS

The research also simulated possible disputes in the 2nd round. In a possible confrontation against Flávio Bolsonaro, Lula appears with 54.3% of voting intentions, while the senator registers 34.4%.

In another scenario, against Ratinho Jr., the president has 55.6% compared to 27.2% for the PSD pre-candidate.

GOVERNMENT ASSESSMENT

The survey measured the evaluation of Lula’s administration among Maranhão voters. For 41.8%, the government is considered “great” or “good”. Another 23.5% classify the administration as “regular”. 32.8% rated the management as “bad” or “terrible”, while 1.8% did not know or preferred not to respond.
