Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo – US ski star Mikaela Shiffrin has published online hate messages she received during the Winter Olympics last February. The 30-year-old shared some of the comments on Instagram. “Shame on you, you traitor,” it said. Or: “Stay in Italy, bitch.” Someone else wrote: “You’re a fucking joke” and called Shiffrin a “worthless piece of shit.” One user commented ironically: “It would be such a shame if you got injured and could never ski again.”
