The government’s negative assessment () reached 43%, while the positive assessment fluctuated to 31%, shows a Genial/Quaest survey released this Wednesday (11). They consider regular management to be 25%.
In February, the current government’s bad or terrible rating was 39%, while the positive rating was 33%. Another 26% stated that the president’s work was at a regular level.
The difference between negative and positive reviews has doubled since last month. The margin was 6 percentage points; Today there are already 12.
The survey interviewed 2,004 Brazilians aged 16 and over, from March 6th to 9th, through home collection. The margin of error is two percentage points, and the confidence level is 95%. The research is registered with the (Superior Electoral Court) under code BR-05809/2026.
For 47% of those interviewed, Lula’s third term is worse than the PT’s first two governments. This percentage was 42% in February.
21% say that the current government is better, while 19% (who expected it to be good) think it is the same, and 10% (who expected negative management) also see it as the same.
From this perspective, the percentage of independent voters who believe that the current government is worse rose from 43% to 51%.
In the government’s approval indicator, 51% say they disapprove of Lula’s administration, while 44% approve. The difference went from 4 percentage points in February to 7 now. Previously, disapproval was at 49%, and approval was at 45%.
Among women, disapproval reached 48%, with 46% approval. Among Catholics, disapproval stood at 47%, while 49% approved of the government.
The percentage of people who say they have seen more negative news about the Lula government has also increased. It was 47% compared to 41% in February.
Another 24% report seeing more positive news (compared to 25% last month), and 27% say they have seen no news (compared to 25% in the previous survey).
