Another Iran ‘proxy’ group has claimed responsibility for a new blow against US positions in the region, against the US and Israel against Iran. These are the pro-Iranian Islamic Resistance militias in Iraq, the same ones that had already claimed responsibility for a vehicle that Washington claims crashed in an accident.
These militias pro-Tehran have announced a bombing of the Victory Base Complexthe Victoria base that the United States has in the vicinity of the Baghdad International Airport, in the Iraqi capital. According to the announcement, they would have caused a total of 6 casualties and 4 injuries in said attack, still without confirmation from Washington.
Along these lines, the statement reads as follows: “Our brave mujahideen have carried out a precise and effective operation with missiles directed against the US base in Victoria, near Baghdad airport.” They also specify that the wounded are seriously injured, although there is no confirmation that they are US soldiers or regular Iraqi forces.
Pro-Iran group confirms four dead from another US attack
On the other hand, the pro-Iran group in Iraq has also hinted that a US attack would have caused four deaths among the troops of another pro-Iran militia in Iraqi territory. This is the complaint about a counter-position in the northern province of Kirkugk, which resulted in four members of another group, in this case the Iraqi militia Kataeb Imam Ali.
