The coach of the Brazilian team, Carlo Ancelottisaid this Monday (16) that Neymar was not called up for friendlies against France and Croatia due to their physical condition. In an interview with journalists, the coach stated that “needs 100% players”.

“He is not 100%, but if he arrives during the World Cup at 100%, obviously he can be [no Mundial]”, declared Ancelotti.

The commander of the Canarian team also added that Neymar must “keep working and playing” to reach good physical condition until the final list for the World Cup is finalized. Asked if this assessment of Santos’ number 10 is physical or technical, Ancelotti replied that it is physical and “with the ball”, the attacker “is very good”.

The coach also declared that the technical committee of the Brazilian team will follow Neymar’s games “in the coming months”.
