The president in charge of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, dismissed Vladimir Padrino López this Wednesday after more than a decade as Minister of Defense in the South American country, and appointed General Gustavo González López in his place, two months after the capture of President Nicolás Maduro during a US military attack in Caracas.
