Istanbul – After the fuss surrounding their silent protest at the Asian Cup, the Iranian soccer team players have arrived in their home country. The players and members of the coaching staff entered Iranian territory via a border crossing in eastern Turkey, the Fars news agency reported. The players had previously landed at Istanbul airport and made their way overland to Iran. The airspace over Iran is closed because of the war.
