Pregnant again after 40! The movie star revealed a sweet secret: She is expecting her third child

Natalie Portman announced that she is pregnant for the third time. The 44-year-old Oscar winner is expecting her first child with her new partner Tanguy Destablo. She announced the news in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Tanguy and I are very excited. I am extremely grateful. I know it is a huge privilege and a miracle,” she stated. The Israeli native has two children from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied – fourteen-year-old Aleph and nine-year-old Amalia.

Natalie’s doctor specializes in fertility. She herself emphasized that she is aware of the difficulties that older women can face. “I grew up knowing how difficult it can be to get pregnant. I know many people who have had a lot of trouble with this, and I want to treat it with respect. It is a beautiful and joyful thing, but it is not easy. I know how lucky I am and I’m very grateful for that, she said.

According to her own words, she experiences this pregnancy differently than the previous ones. “Ethere is a certain gratitude that you are not fully aware of when you are young. And also peace and self-knowledge: who I want to spend time with and what kind of energy I want to have around me. This makes the experience beautiful every day. And because I know it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment,” she explained.

Natalie Portman is currently spending time in Paris, where she has been living on and off for a long time. “It’s beautiful spring weather here, so it’s wonderful to just go to the local parks and see art. Just normal things you do when you’re not working. In France, they consider a full-term pregnancy to be 41 weeks instead of 40, so I’m about an extra week this time. I don’t look at social media much. Maybe because I’ve been through it twice… I read a lot of books with my first child and now I think: ‘We know what to do.’ It’s okay. You’ll figure it out. We will make many mistakes no matter how hard we try,” she added.
