Another week coming to an end and you’re thinking about what you’re going to do to enjoy your rest days? We have separated several options for you to de-stress with another Cultural Tour.

Friday

arrives in Acre to tour his new show, “ Isso Definitely Not A Cult”. The performances take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 19, 20 and 21, at Teatro da Ufac. Tickets can be guaranteed via the Ingressomix.com platform.

This Friday is also Brazin day. From 6pm onwards, the venue will host Pagode do Brazin, with Camile Castro, Vibe 68 and Italim. Tropical gin promotions for R$19.90 and Old Par for R$299.90 continue until 8pm. Entry is free until 9pm. Tickets and invitations can be purchased through the Sympla platform.

Studio Beer, this Friday, will host a special dedicated to three rock giants: Deftones, Limp Bizkit and Rage Against the Machine, starting at 11pm. Advance tickets cost R$25.00 and can be purchased by contacting (68) 99918-0386.

Japanese film lovers, get ready! The Consulate General of Japan in Manaus, in partnership with the Japan Foundation and the Elias Mansour Culture Foundation, is holding the Japanese Cinema Exhibition at Filmoteca Acreana, on the 20th and 21st of March.

The program includes four films subtitled in Portuguese, with genres including drama, comedy, youth and fantasy. Entry is free.

The films shown will be:

  • Neko Ninja: adventures of a ninja and his magical cat in a plot of action, magic and family ties;
  • Oshin: the inspiring story of a young woman facing challenges and overcoming adversity;
  • Kamome Snack Bar: a delicate story about new beginnings, friendship and the charm of everyday life;
  • Kappa: the Rio elf and Sanpei: a fantastic adventure with yokai, elves and magical discoveries.

Saturday

The show is performed by Coletivo Teatro Candeeiro, with text by Aziz Bajur and direction by Elias Silva. The montage brings a story full of unexpected situations, striking characters and a humor that speaks volumes to our Brazilian way of being. The performances will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 21st and 22nd, at the Sesc Centro Arena theater, starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets cost 15 reais for a half and 30 reais for a full ticket and can be purchased through Instagram @teatrocandeeiro or by calling: (68) 99282-2292.

Still in the theater, the Palhaço Tenorino group (GPT) presents the show Os Saltimbancos. In celebration of 35, the group puts together the show presented in 1998, now with the children acting out characters that their parents played decades ago. The presentation takes place on Saturday and Sunday, March 21st and 22nd, at 5pm, at Usina de Arte João Donato. Admission, which is free, will be on a first-come, first-served basis and once the theater is full, no more people will be allowed to enter. The organization recommends arriving early.

There was a barbecue at samba! From 3pm to 6pm, the AABB Pool Bar welcomes singers Brunno Damasceno, Samba da Cá and Samba Groove, with a free barbecue.

On Saturday, starting at 6pm, the Mixture from A to Z will take place: Pagodinho do Edil, Vibe 68 and Italim at Brazin. Double caipirinha and campari promotions for R$99.90 are open until 8pm. Entry is free until 9pm. Invitations and tickets are available on the Sympla Platform.

Domingo

The 1st edition of Cultura na Praça will be held this Sunday. The event will start at 4pm, at the bandstand at Praça Povos da Floresta, in Rio Branco. The project promises to bring together art, music and cultural events, being free and open to all ages.
