The last fortnightly debate was marked by the absence of the Minister of Labor. The reason was simple: Maria do Rosário Palma Ramalho was meeting urgently and with a certain tone of secrecy with bosses and UGT for a last attempt at an agreement.
With or without an agreement in Social Concertation, the aim of the Government is to take the proposal for the new labor law to the Parliament until end of aprilaccording to the newspaper .

Government gives in, but UGT still does not commit
