Popular actor and presenter Martin Nikodým celebrated his 55th birthday on March 9. His career began at the Bratislava Puppet Theatre, later he worked at the Nová scéna theatre. However, most viewers remember him thanks to the popular Millionaire trivia competition. Today we can see him in the competition-entertainment show I love Slovakia on JOJ television.
He likes to tell nobody about his unusual hobby. The well-known moderator can best react to his bees. It not only produces high-quality Slovak mead, but also other popular products such as lip balms, fragrances and propolis tinctures. Nikodým has been beekeeping since 2017.
In addition to all these duties, Nikodým manages to work at radio Expres. He speaks to the audience every Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the Martin Nikodým Show, which is dedicated to the hits of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
It was in the premises of the radio that a real surprise awaited the moderator. He never thought that he had an ordinary sound check ahead of him. But his colleagues sang him a unique song. “Who celebrated the holiday? Martin Nikodým. Does any of us believe his age at all? He doesn’t. All the best, may you travel and enjoy your bee world.” part of Duran Duran’s popular song Ordinary World is sung. While Nikodým was playing a song in his headphones, his colleagues emerged from around the corner, all dressed as bees.
Nicodemus was moved by it. “I’m roaring. What’s wrong with you? You’re love,” he reacted immediately to this nice surprise and wiped away his tears. “We love you very much. We wanted to give you such a surprise that if you like the bees so much, you should also like us a little more when we are like bees.” his colleague Barbora Chlebcová told him, who sang the song for the moderator.
