Representatives of the group of seven most advanced economies in the world (G7) and the European Union called on Saturday for an immediate and unconditional end to Iran’s attacks against allies in the Middle East. This was reported by the AFP agency, writes TASR.

“We demand an immediate and unconditional end to all attacks by the Iranian regime,” said the foreign ministers of Britain, France, Japan, Canada, Germany, Italy and the USA, as well as the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
In a joint statement, they expressed “support to our partners in the region in light of the unjustified attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its allies.” “We support the right of countries unjustifiably attacked by Iran or its allies to defend their territories and defend their citizens,” supplied in the statement.
The US-Israeli bombing of Iran, which began on February 28, has sparked conflict across the region as Tehran has launched retaliatory strikes in the Middle East and beyond, AFP adds.
