An army soldier, identified as José Carlos Júnior Carvalho Grachet, aged 18, died after feeling unwell during military physical trainingthis Saturday (21).
In a statement, the Special Operations Command lamented the death of Private José Carlos Júnior Carvalho Grachet, member of the 1st Commando Action Battalion, in Goiânia, capital of Goiás.
According to the army, on Friday (20), and was immediately supported by the instruction team and attended to by the health team on site, receiving first aid while still in the training area.

Due to the severity of his clinical condition, he was referred to the Goiânia Garnição Medical Post and, later, transferred to hospital units, where he remained hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. Despite all the efforts of healthcare teams,
“The Special Operations Command expresses its condolences to the family, friends and comrades in uniform at this time of sadness and pain and informs that it is providing all psychological, spiritual and social assistance support to the family members. The circumstances of what happened are being investigated”, they informed.
