In a post on social media, the former Brazilian national team coach said he was doing great, thanked the team of doctors and nurses at the hospital and reported that he had a bacterial infection, from which he will finish recovering at home.

“When I arrived from Brasília (DF), I was very ill, with chills. The next day, I continued [mal] and I came to the hospital to have intensive treatment to combat the bacteria”, he stated, in a video published on Instagram. “It has already stabilized and now I will continue the treatment at home, moderate my work so as not to be exposed to people.”

He also joked that he intends to watch, on television, the game between Corinthians and Flamengo, scheduled to take place at 8:30 pm this Sunday, in São Paulo.
