A video released by Sag Harbor authorities is making waves as it shows the moment Justin Timberlake was arrested for drunk driving.
The incident occurred in June 2024, after the artist was stopped due to irregular, zigzag driving and failing to respect a stop sign. The images show the singer undergoing sobriety tests, which he ended up failing, before being handcuffed and taken to the police station.
During the approach, Timberlake tried to justify himself, stating that he was just returning home and that he had done nothing wrong. A friend who accompanied him still reacted with disbelief, questioning the artist’s arrest at the time it was happening.
The singer ended up appearing in court the next day and was released without bail. The case was closed months later, with a deal that included a fine and community service.
However, the artist’s lawyers tried to prevent the publication of the images, claiming that they show Timberlake in a state of great vulnerability.
