Storms halt PRR: Government asks Brussels for “ingenious solution” to save funds

The Prime Minister asked Brussels for an ingenious solution to avoid losing money for PRR works affected by the storms. The European Union says it is waiting for the Government to send the reprogramming proposal.

The train of storms came to ruin the PRR’s accounts, with works in the Central region that, due to bad weather, will not be completed until the end of August.

However, the Government does not give up either money or works and asks Ursula von der Leyen for creativity and solutions.

Brussels says it is available to help, but remembers that the deadlines are the deadlines and the PRR deadlines are not subject to change.

The Prime Minister, for now, is not giving up on the planned works and asks for a solution within the rules.
