Iran rejected this Wednesday, 25th, the plan proposed by the United States to suspend the war in the Middle East and stated that the end of the conflict will not be defined by North American President Donald Trump.
The information was confirmed by the Iranian state broadcaster in English. Press TVwhich cited an unnamed Iranian government source.
“Iran reacted negatively to the US proposal,” said the Press TV. “The war will end when Iran decides it will end, not when Trump decides it will end,” he added.
Iran has not released any official position so far. The country’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, also did not comment on the matter.
A Press TV further reported that Iran has established five conditions for the end of the war, which include:
An end to “aggression and murders” against Iran and its leaders;

The implementation of a robust mechanism that assures Iran that the US and Israel will not resume war;
Compensation for damages caused;
The cessation of hostilities on all regional fronts and against all “resistance groups”, in reference to groups such as Hezbollah;
And international recognition and guarantees of Iran’s sovereign rights over the Strait of Hormuz.
Other Iranian state news agencies, such as Mehr and Tasnim, also published the information from Press TV.
Iran’s demands, however, are contrary to part of the 15-point plan drawn up by Washington and presented to Iran by Pakistan. According to two Pakistani officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the proposal addressed easing sanctions against Tehran, reducing Iran’s nuclear program, setting a limit on missiles and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

An Egyptian official who participated in the negotiations said, on condition of anonymity, that the plan also includes restrictions on Iran’s support for armed groups – which Tehran has signaled it does not accept, according to information released by the Press TV.
A face-to-face meeting between US and Iranian negotiators could take place on Friday the 27th in Pakistan, according to Egyptian and Pakistani officials. Among those involved in the negotiations are US special envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Vice President JD Vance.
Amid the negotiations, Israel and Iran exchanged new attacks. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it bombed Tehran and Isfahan on Wednesday afternoon, while missile warning sirens were heard in several parts of Israel due to joint attacks by Iran and Hezbollah.

Iran has also kept up pressure on its Persian Gulf neighbors. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense said it had destroyed at least eight drones in one of its provinces. In Bahrain, missile warning sirens sounded in several locations. Kuwait claimed to have shot down several drones, but said one of them hit a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport.
Iran’s Navy also claimed to have launched cruise missiles against the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln and warned that new attacks of this type could occur.
The US intends to reinforce its troops in the Middle East, sending at least a thousand soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division in the coming days. The information was confirmed by three sources familiar with the matter, on condition of anonymity.

Paratroopers are trained to jump into hostile or disputed areas to secure important territories and airfields. The Pentagon also plans to deploy about 5,000 additional Marines and thousands of sailors.
