Government bench tries to obstruct voting on PL’s official opinion; alternative text focuses on Flávio Bolsonaro and ignores Lula’s son

The PT presented this Friday (27th March 2026) a parallel report to the CPMI of the INSS, in a maneuver to obstruct the vote on the official opinion, prepared by the deputy (PL-AL). The government strategy seeks to invalidate the original document, which recommends Lulinha, son of the president (PT), for alleged irregularities in contracts with Social Security.

The alternative text, headed by the deputy (PT-MG), expands the list of those being investigated to around 270 names and concentrates the political artillery on the senator (PL-RJ). By filing the separate vote of more than 1,800 pages, the PT bench is trying to postpone the commission’s outcome and prevent the report involving the president’s family from being approved by the collegiate.
