According to the Israeli military statement, the two men were identified as Ayub Hussein Yaqub and Yasser Mohammed Mubarak.
Yacoub was killed in an attack that took place in the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, as stated in a related post on Telegram.
At the same time, the Israeli army announced that its air and naval forces launched overnight attacks in various areas of southern Lebanon.
The operations, according to the same source, targeted weapons depots, launchers and military installations as part of the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah.
