The Crystal Wing Award for 2025 was awarded on March 21 at the Slovak National Theater (SND) in Bratislava personalities from the economic, scientific, cultural, sports and social spheres for exceptional achievements or long-term contribution to society. The laureates in ten categories and the special prize in the 29th edition were decided by expert juries and the Grand Jury.
He spoke to the musician Teri Čikoš winner in the theater and audiovisual arts category, Milan Ondrík. He summed up his feelings for our website shortly after winning the award.
“I feel so… like an award. I’m also a little ashamed that there’s actually so much attention around me like this, but I’m very grateful for it, because I think… every notice of work of any kind is very important for a person. And you also need to notice the people around you and maybe appreciate them, sometimes a smile and positive energy is enough. I also think that the price is equal to such prices,” said the actor openly.
His calendar is filled for three years ahead, which indicates his talentbut he also admits that he has to pay attention to it in order to find time for his beloved family.
Ondrík collects one award after another. At home, they have to be busy! “I don’t have one like this yet and I’m very happy because when I saw the other years, I really liked the price. In fact, in the previous forms as well as in this one, I thought to myself: “Well, I might want this one. But expressly as a work of art, since I am also an artist,” surprised.
Many fans still don’t know about his other talent. “Besides acting, I’m an artistic carver, so I really like it artistically. And… well, I’ll say immodestly that I have nowhere to put them anymore. And I just have to… because I have such cabinets that I renovated myself, they are such narrow cabinets that I dug up, that is, they were thrown out by the dumpsters. I liked them very much, I chose them and repaired them. And I will have to go through other containers to find a similar cabinet so that I can repair it and have a place to give such awards, for which I am very grateful,” added the actor with humor.
