The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated this Saturday morning (4) that “time is running out” for an agreement that guarantees the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on his social network, Truth Social, Trump gave 48 hours “before hell breaks down on them”, in reference to Iran. The president mentioned the 10-day deadline established on March 26, when he claimed that negotiations were going well.
“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz. Time is running out — 48 hours before all hell breaks loose on them. Glory to God! President Donald J. Trump,” he said.
In recent days, they have crossed the strait while, on Saturday morning, the Iranian press reported that the country published a letter authorizing the entry of essential goods into its ports. Since the end of February, the strait has been closed due to the war involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
