Qeshm Island, the largest in Iran, is located in the Strait of Hormuz
Warning from Donald Trump, who recalled the 10-day deadline he gave to Iran. It is not the first 48-hour deadline he has announced. “Glory to God.”
The American President today gave “48 hours” to Iran to reach an agreement or reopen the Strait of Hormuzsaying he was going to bring hell down on the country in the Persian Gulf.
“Remember when I gave Iran 10 days to REACH A DEAL or OPEN THE STRAIT OF ORMUZ. Time is running out – 48 hours until Hell falls on them. Glory to GOD”, wrote Donald Trump on his social network, Truth Social.
The message, over Easter weekend, came after Trump issued a 10-day ultimatum on March 26 on the same platform.
At the time, the North American President had told Tehran that he had until 8pm in Washington, on Monday, April 6, to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
But this is not the first time that Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum precisely within 48 hours.
“If Iran does not fully open, without threats, the Strait of Hormuz within 48 HOURS from this precise moment, the United States will attack and destroy its various power plants, starting with the largest,” wrote Donald Trump in Truth Social – but on the day.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military offensive against Tehran, which retaliated with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial maritime route for the oil market, and attacks against Israel, US bases and other infrastructure in countries in the region such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman and Iraq.
The current situation has caused an increase in the prices of oil and other raw materials.
