As the portal informs with reference to ČTK, on Sunday morning, 2 young Slovak tourists were hit by a regional train in the Austrian city of Schladming. One of them is supposed to be in danger, the APA agency reported. The couple was going back to the hotel when a locomotive hit them from behind.
One of the young men is said to have life-threatening head injuries, he was taken by helicopter to the Klagenfurt hospital, the other is said to be conscious and have a broken arm. According to him, they didn’t know the area, and their phones didn’t work, so they walked along the tracks and didn’t see or hear the train. APA said. The families of the boys are to be assisted by a crisis intervention team.
