The iconic dance show returned to TV Markíza in a special 11th series. The new season of Let’s Dance: The Best of the Best started on Sunday, March 8. On the floor in the fifth round, which fell on Easter Sunday, April 5presented by: Ján Koleník, Jakub Jablonský, Kristián Baran, Juraj Mokrý, Nela Pocisková, Gabika Marcinková and Zuzana Porubjaková.
The fifth round of Let’s Dance was special. In addition to classic ballroom dances, couples also performed a folkloric dance, which they danced in groups. The SĽUK folklore ensemble and the Prvosienka children’s folklore ensemble were also present.
Nela Pocisková and Filip Kucman danced the paso doble in the 5th round to the music: Woodkid – Run Boy Run. They also cut a folklore number with Juraj Mokrý, Jakub Jablonský and Zuzka Porubjaková and their dance partners.
After a passionate paso doble, Ján Ďurovčík, Pocisková’s ex-partner, was the first to speak with his assessment. “Well, I’ll start! I like that Filipko woke up for us, because I have to say honestly – you did it beautifully. As a matter of fact, from the beginning… You could say that you are dragging the bull, I would rather say, you are dragging your own cross. Hey? When it’s Easter,” exclaimed the judge, and Nela Pocisková immediately grimaced at her dance partner. PHOTO can be found in the gallery.
Laughter ensued and the famous choreographer and director continued. “It’s like Easter, isn’t it?” stressed Ďurovčík slowly to explain. “Okay, okay, okay,” Pocisková ran up to him.
“Don’t be offended now! It’s just… This was 90% of what I expected. Danced, acted, dramatic, I didn’t mind the music, a little bit at the end I felt that it could be loaded, but I’m excited until the 90%, beautiful number, excellent. And don’t be offended!” Ján Ďurovčík concluded uncompromisingly.
