The Memoirs of Marcel Proust’s Housekeeper as a graphic novel

It is a tribute not only to the author and his work, but also to the most important person in his final years, the tireless Céleste Albaret (1891-1984), who entered his life from 1913 and never left him until his death. You know them from the memoirs Mr Proust, which she only wrote in 1973 when she was old, together with the literary scholar Georges Belmont and to whom we owe many anecdotes and details about Proust. We know this “pillar saint of Proust research” from the film adaptation of this memoir by Percy Adlon in 1981 with the incomparable Eva Mattes in the role of Proust’s housekeeper.
