A car fell, this Monday, into a hole on Estrada Nacional 16 (N16), in Sobreiro, a town in the parish of Albergaria-a-Velha (Aveiro). The driver emerged unharmed.
According to the only the driver was inside the vehicle, who was not injured. The alert reached the authorities at 8:20 pm.
In a publication made on the social network Facebook, the meso newspaper indicates that the hole “results from works in progress on that section of the road”.
“The incident was recorded in the intervened area, where signs relating to the work are posted.”
Firefighters called an extrication vehicle and a pre-hospital ambulance, according to the report. .
