The leader of Chega appeared in public with a ‘Belenenses’ look. However, he assured journalists this Tuesday that he had not been attacked.
On Sunday, Easter Day, Andre Ventura published a video on social media about what he described as the “brutal increase in crime in Portugal”.

“As you’ve seen from the images, my eyes are quite black. I had a small setback here. I hope this goes away in the next few days.” At the time, the president of Chega did not specify the type of unforeseen event and continued with the video.
Governments in Portugal have ignored the brutal increase in crime. It’s time to put an end to this and face reality!
