Some startups grow so much and become so well-known in the market that we almost forget that they started as startups. This is the case of companies like iFood, Mercado Bitcoin and Wellhub, for example, which have become a reference in their operating segments. The company calls these companies “outliers”.
In practice, the Outliers seal, awarded annually by Endeavor, recognizes companies in its portfolio that present accelerated growth, high impact on their markets and above-average execution capacity. Recognition is based on rigorous criteria that combine revenue, growth and indicators such as CAGR (compound annual growth rate) over three years. More than a ranking, the list works as a thermometer of the strength of the innovation ecosystem, highlighting businesses that manage to grow consistently even in challenging economic scenarios.
Brazil at the top
In 2026, Brazil assumed global leadership on the list. In total, 39 Brazilian companies, led by 79 entrepreneurs, received the seal, consolidating the country as the largest representative in the global survey, with more than 17% of the 225 companies recognized in total. Together, these companies raised R$44.3 billion in revenue in 2025, reinforcing the country’s weight in the global technology and innovation scenario.
Brazil’s leading role gains even more relevance given the recent macroeconomic context, marked by high interest rates, exchange rate volatility and moderate growth. Even so, the selected national companies registered average annual growth of 81% in the last three years, with average revenue of R$1.1 billion and one. According to Endeavor, the productivity of these companies is, on average, 11 times higher than the country’s average, demonstrating their ability to scale businesses efficiently.
Another aspect that draws attention is resilience. Brazilian Outliers have, on average, 12 years of operation: a significant milestone in a country where, according to IBGE data, around 63% of companies close their activities after five years. This shows that consistency in growth over time has become an important competitive differentiator for these scale-ups.
The 2026 edition also reveals the evolution of the national ecosystem by combining veteran companies and new protagonists.

Among the historical highlights are names founded in the 1990s, such as Blip and Grupo Trigo, while seven companies debut on the list this year: Omie, Pagaleve, Conta Azul, Blipay, 180 Seguros, Barte and Tractian. For Endeavor, this new generation represents businesses with strong traction, relevant funding and intensive use of technology, including artificial intelligence.
Internationalization
International ambition also stands out among Brazilians. Today, 51% of the country’s Outliers operate globally, either with offices outside Brazil or through cross-border sales. There are cases of companies that were born global, such as Brex and OneSkin, and others that expanded after consolidating local operations, such as Wellhub, Tractian, VTEX and EBANX. The movement reinforces the maturity of Brazilian startups, which are now competing in the market on an international scale.
In addition to the financial results, the list highlights the so-called “multiplier effect” promoted by these entrepreneurs. In 2025, more than 430 founders were mentored by Outlier company leaders, and 65% of companies supported others from their own community. On average, each entrepreneur mentored 11 people per year, strengthening a culture of giveback and driving the next generation of high-growth businesses.

Even at an advanced stage, growth remains the main challenge for more than 60% of recognized companies, especially in topics such as market expansion, internationalization and business model refinement. Throughout 2025, more than 290 people from the Endeavor network — including mentors, investors and experts — directly supported the 79 Brazilian entrepreneurs in these processes.
