The deputy leader of the government in the Chamber, (PT-RJ), and the federal deputy (Rede-MG) on Thursday (April 9, 2026) made a video in which they made a series of criticisms of the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency (PL-RJ).
According to congressmen, the video was made in response to a statement by Flávio. On Wednesday (April 8), the senator told the portal that he will sue the deputies for attacks against him on social media. He stated that the president (PT) escalated “a team” to attack him with “false narratives”.
“The news is that Flávio Bolsonaro is suing us because we are Lula’s team, scheduled to attack him”these Lindberghs. “They’re saying that this is just a sample, that we haven’t even started to get down on this bum’s back.”declared Janones.
“They are saying that you are linked to the militia. Adriano da Nóbrega, who was head of the crime office. His wife and mother worked in his office. Could it be?”said Lindbergh, to which Janones added: “They are saying that you bought 51 properties with cash. It will be?”.
The congressmen end the video by stating that they are “Lula’s team” and who will not be intimidated by the possibility of being sued.
“What they’re saying is that you’ve already started to faint. Could it be?”said Janones, referring to the episode in which Flávio fell ill during a television debate during the 2016 municipal election campaign.
On Monday (April 6), Janones was presented to the Federal Supreme Court for the defense of (PL). In the action, the former president’s lawyers claim that the congressman released videos on social media in which he called the former president “tramp”, “burglar” e “rascal”.
In the request sent to the STF, the defense maintains that Janones exceeded the limits of freedom of expression by making this type of statement.
