The President of the United States, Donald Trump, publicly broke with influencers linked to the Maga movement after criticism of his stance regarding the war in Iran. In a post on the social network Truth Social, this Thursday, 9th, Trump attacked Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones.
“I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and Alex Jones have been attacking me for years, especially because they think it’s wonderful that Iran, the number one state sponsor of terrorism, has a nuclear weapon, because they have one thing in common: low IQ. They are stupid people, they know it, their families know it and everyone else knows it!”
In the same publication, Trump stated that influencers do not represent the movement that elected him. “These so-called ‘experts’ are LOSERS, and always will be! […] They’re not ‘MAGA,’ they’re losers, just trying to hang on to MAGA,” he said.
The president also made personal attacks by suggesting that Tucker Carlson should “see a good psychiatrist.”
Elsewhere, when commenting on criticism made by Candace Owens about President Emmanuel Macron’s wife, Brigitte, Trump said he hoped the first lady “will win a lot of money in the ongoing legal process” and stated that she “is a much more beautiful woman than Candace; in fact, it’s not even a comparison!” The conservative influencer was reported for defamation by the French after she claimed that Brigitte would be a man.
Trump also accused them of seeking visibility with “third-rate podcasts” and stated that he no longer answers their calls. “As president, I could get them on my side whenever I wanted, but when they call, I don’t return the calls because I’m too busy with world and country affairs,” he declared.

The Republican also reinforced that the Maga movement would be aligned with his position in relation to Iran. “MAGA is about VICTORY and STRENGTH to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons”, he wrote.
The reaction comes amid divisions within the conservative base in the United States over the country’s role in the conflict in the Middle East, with some influencers and allies criticizing military involvement.
