Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro returned to sharing content from federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) on social media this Thursday, 9th, after friction between the parliamentarian and former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP).
She shared a video of the Minas Gerais native thanking the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), for scheduling the vote on the veto of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) on the Dosimetry PL for the 30th of this month.
According to Nikolas’ video, Alcolumbre would have given in to a request from the deputy to schedule the analysis of the veto in Congress. If the veto is overturned, the proposal will benefit former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). “May God bless you. Great Nikolas,” Michelle wrote.
The project aims to reduce the sentences imposed on Bolsonaro and other defendants convicted of the coup attempt after the 2022 elections and for the undemocratic acts of January 8, 2023. The former president was sentenced to 27 years and three months in prison.
Last week, Michelle had already publicized Nikolas Ferreira on her social networks, on the same day that the miner and his stepson publicly exchanged attacks.
The fight between the two reached its peak on the 4th of this month, when Eduardo published a long text responding to an ironic comment from the miner: “Snickering at me, Nikolas? Apparently, there are no limits to your disrespect towards me and my family”. On the same day, Michelle shared a video on her social networks of Nikolas talking about the film The Passion of the Christ, directed by Mel Gibson.

This week, on Wednesday the 8th, Eduardo said he cannot “accept being humiliated” by Nikolas. In another long text, Bolsonaro’s son “03” said he had merit for boosting the Minas Gerais native within the PL and the political scene.
Alcolumbre announced this Thursday, the 9th, that it had scheduled the vote on President Lula’s veto on the Dosimetry PL for the 30th of this month.
Parliamentarians approved the bill on December 18 last year, to reduce the sentences applied by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to Bolsonaro and others convicted of the attempted coup d’état and acts of vandalism in Brasília on January 8, 2023.
With the project, Bolsonaro would have his sentence reduced to 20 years, with the time spent under a closed regime reduced to two years and four months. According to the legislative rite, the text needed to be submitted for presidential sanction.
On January 8 of this year, three years after the acts of vandalism in Brasília, Lula signed a full veto of the project approved by Congress.
“January 8th is marked by history as the day of victory for our democracy. Victory over those who tried to take power by force, disregarding the popular will expressed at the polls. Those who always defended dictatorship, torture and the extermination of opponents, and intended to subject Brazil to an exceptional regime”, said Lula.

The Dosimetry bill proposed by opposition parliamentarians changes the way in which penalties for crimes against the Democratic Rule of Law will be calculated. According to the text, when the attempt to abolish the Democratic State and the crime of a coup d’état are committed within the same context, there is no longer a combination of penalties. In this situation, only the most severe punishment will prevail.
The proposal’s central axis is the review of criminal dosimetry, with changes in the minimum and maximum levels foreseen for each criminal type and in the general methodology for calculating sentences. The text also shortens the deadlines for the progression of the sentence, facilitating the transition from the closed regime to the semi-open or open regime.
