The federal deputy José Guimarães (PT-CE) reported this Saturday (11), on the social network X, that will take office as minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations of the federal government next Tuesday (14). The parliamentarian will replace former minister Gleisi Hoffmann.

The head of the Institutional Relations Secretariat has, among its responsibilities, coordinate the government’s political coordination with the National Congress e manage the budgetary and financial execution of parliamentary amendments.
Since the beginning of the current administration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), Guimarães occupied the leadership of the government in the Chamber of Deputies.
