Datafolha: negative assessment of the Lula government remains at 40%; positive drops

A pointed out that 40% of the population considers that the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is bad or terrible. The index is identical to that of the previous survey, carried out at the beginning of March. In turn, the positive evaluation fell from 32% to 29%, while the regular rating increased from 26% to 29%. The total number of those who do not know went from 1% to 2%.

Specifically regarding Lula’s work as President, 51% disapprove, 45% approve and 4% don’t know. In March, they were, respectively, 49%, 47% and 4%.

The institute’s survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court under code BR-03770/2026. 2,004 voters were interviewed in 137 cities between April 7th and 9th. The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points.
