Porto City Council will move forward with maintenance work in the city’s tunnels starting this Sunday, April 13th, with phased interventions carried out at night, which will involve traffic restrictions and road closures.
According to the municipality, the work takes place between 10pm and 6am, extending until April 28th. The intervention, explains the municipality in a statement, will be divided into three distinct phases.
The first is marked between April 13th and 15th, the second between April 20th and 23rd and the third between April 27th and 28th.
These works will cover several tunnels in the city, namely the tunnels of Antas I and II, Almadas, Goelas de Pau and Faria Guimarães. As for the case of Antas tunnels, the conditioning will be carried out in an “alternated manner”.
The city hall also clarifies that during periods of intervention, the Circulation will be limited with lane cutsalthough it is traffic flow in the east-west direction on Rua de Ceuta is ensured.
